Back in March, we embarked on a nine-week Crossfit cycle that pushed our community to new heights. From March 4 to May 5, athletes at CrossFit Dublin experienced a meticulously designed program aimed at enhancing strength, conditioning, and overall fitness. Here’s a detailed look at how the program unfolded, the challenges faced, and the incredible results achieved.

Weekly Breakdown of the CrossFit Program

Mondays: A Mix of Strength and Skill

Kick off the week with a variety of overhead presses—alternating between seated, standing strict, and push presses. Add core workouts and gymnastics skills work, culminating in a quick but intense session to get your heart racing. Mondays set a powerful tone for the rest of the week.

Tuesdays: Condition to Win

Tuesdays are dedicated to conditioning with a mix of biking, skiing, and rowing. Expect a blend of long endurance sessions and short, intense bursts. Every third Tuesday featured partner workouts to push limits even further.

Wednesdays: Building Explosive Power

Wednesdays focused on building explosive power with a box squat cycle and plyometric exercises. Lengthy 15-20 minute conditioning workouts challenged stamina and strength.

Thursdays: Bodybuilding and Sweat

Thursdays were all about upper and lower body hypertrophy work with high reps and high volume. This day also included strict gymnastics skills and machine-focused conditioning sessions.

Fridays: The Oly Lifting Day

Fridays were revamped with Olympic lifting sessions, focusing on clean and jerks, followed by clean pulls. "Freaks on Friday" tradition returned with exciting coach demos.

Saturdays: The Partner Challenge

Saturdays featured partner workouts for those seeking competition or just a thrilling challenge. Comp sessions provided a dynamic and fun experience.

Sundays: Sweaty Teamwork

Every two weeks, Sundays alternated between team workouts, lengthy sweat sessions, and mixed modal workouts that left participants exhausted yet exhilarated.
